The Youth Mobility Scheme 2021 for Japanese nationals opens for applications in January. The 1,000 places available will be allocated on the basis of the results of two ballots, one to be held in January, and the other in July. A total of 800 applicants will be selected in the first ballot in January. Successful applicants will be able to live, work and study in the UK for up to two years. Those who wish to apply should send one email (only) to: Japan.YMS2021@fcdo.gov.uk between 12:00 p.m. (Japan time) on Monday 25 January, and 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday 27 January 2021.
