First premiered at the Edinburgh Festival in 1991, STOMP has been performed in various countries around the world, including a 29-year run off-Broadway in New York. This immersive performance mixes rhythm created with all sorts of items such as buckets, deck brushes, and trash can lids, along with dance, percussion, theatre, comedy, and the ‘sounds’ and ‘movements’ of everyday life. In 1994, it received the Laurence Olivier Award.
