Matsuyama Ballet’s “Giselle”, directed and choreographed by Tetsutaro Shimizu, which has been highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, was renamed “Giselle and Albrecht” last year and will be performed with a new interpretation and direction. In addition, “The Japan Ballet 21” will be a collaboration between Matsuyama Ballet School students selected through auditions and Matsuyama Ballet Company members and teachers, and will feature a powerful performance of “The Nutcracker”.
