To commemorate the 110th Memorial Anniversary of Empress Shoken, Meiji Jingu Intercultural Research Institute will hold an international symposium about the ceremonial court dress of Empress Shoken which is regarded as the oldest court gown. Various research has been carried out on the gown during its recent repairs.
