Phantom of the Opera is a musical with lyrics and a book by Ken Hill. Hill’s Phantom of the Opera began its life in 1976, and inspired the version by Andrew Lloyd Webber which was first staged in 1986. Ken Hill’s Phantom of the Opera has been performed in Japan since 1992, and it will come back in January 2024 after 6 years with Ben Foster as Phantom and Paul Potts as Faust.
