Doppo Kunikida (1871-1981) was a Japanese novelist in the Meiji Era and he wrote Musashino in 1898 while in Chigasaki suffering from tuberculosis. He was greatly influenced in his work by William Wordsworth. The works of several contemporaries of William Wordsworth including John Constable, William Turner and other British painters will be on display at the exhibition.
