An exhibition of masterpieces from the National Gallery, London will be held in Tokyo and Osaka this year. The National Gallery has not allowed any works in its collection to be exhibited abroad for the past 200 years, but this year, 61 important works, including Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, Johannes Vermeer’s A Young Woman Seated at a Virginal, and Rembrandt’s Self Portrait at the Age of 34 will be exhibited in Japan.
