Bunkamura presents ‘King Lear’ as the 15th installment of the DISCOVER WORLD THEATRE series, showcasing excellent overseas plays from a contemporary perspective, in collaboration with creators from Japan and abroad. This performance is delivered in celebration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of former Theatre Cocoon artistic director, Yukio Ninagawa. Directed by Phillip Breen, starring Shinobu Otake as King Lear, Rie Miyazawa as Goneril, etc.
