Three parts—brass instruments, percussion, and visual ensemble (dancers and colour guard)—come alive and the musicians, who play over 60 different instruments, captivate the audience with their overwhelmingly beautiful sound and perfect formations. Premiering at the London Apollo Theatre in 1999, the show opened on Broadway in 2001, winning both a Tony Award and an Emmy Award. This year’s tour of Japan is the grand finale of the original production.
