ARK (Animal Refuge Kansai) is an organization founded by Elizabeth Oliver, who came to Japan from the UK as an English teacher in 1968 and witnessed the plight of abandoned pets and homeless animals. She then set up the organization with her friends. Proceeds from the calendar will be used for animals. For more information, please visit the ARK website. www.arkbark.net
