‘The Nutcracker,’ loved as a winter tradition at the New National Theatre, Tokyo, has been enjoyed in various versions. For the 2025/26 season, the New National Theatre will present an original version choreographed by British choreographer Will Tuckett, who has also received numerous awards, including the Olivier Award, for his work in theatre, and is active on the global stage. This will be his second work for the New National Theatre Ballet Company, following the world premiere of ‘Macbeth’ in 2023.
