JBS Member Yuki Ito has been enjoying an international career since winning 1st prize at both the International Brahms Competition in Austria in 2010 and the Windsor Festival International String Competition in 2011. In 2019, he was honoured with the Hideo Saito Memorial Award, one of Japan’s highest awards for cellists and conductors. He was going to give a recital in April 2020, but it was cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic. He will give a recital at the Spring Festival Tokyo 2021.
