Henry VIII is known as the most famous tyrant in British history. Queens from 16th century England are brought back to life in modern times, singing to see who has suffered the most misery, telling the tale of their tragic lives at the mercy of their notorious ex-husbands. The show was created in 2017 by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, then students at Cambridge University, and first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With its dynamic and catchy music, witty lyrics, and strong feminist overtones, the show gained popularity and made it to the West End. It has won 35 awards around the world, including two Tony Awards. https://www.umegei.com/six/
