This work is a grand historical romance musical that boldly portrays the life of Elizabeth I. The masterpiece is a collaboration between the legendary Michael Kunze & Silvester Levay, creators of hits like ‘Elisabeth’ and ‘Mozart!’, and Japan’s musical hitmaker Shuichiro Koike. It premiered worldwide at the Imperial Theatre (Teikoku Gekijo) in 2014, was revived in 2017, and the long-awaited performance is now scheduled for 2026.
