The King’s Singers Online Concert ‘Heiwa’

Founded by a group of six choral scholars from King’s College, Cambridge in 1968, The King’s Singers are a British a capella vocal ensemble that travels worldwide and they gave several concerts in Japan, which received excellent reviews. This year in October they were planning to hold a charity concert in Hiroshima and in Fukushima but due to the COVID-19 pandemic they were obliged to cancel it. Now they are giving an online concert ‘Heiwa’.
Programmes: Kimigayo (His Imperial Majesty’s reign), Ashita no uta (Song for tomorrow), I was glad (Henry Purcell), O Lord, make thy servant Elizabeth, our Queen (William Byrd), And I love her (The Beatles) etc.
Date: Saturday, 24th October from 1900hrs
Price: Streaming and Ticket JPY3,000 (tax included)
Streaming is available until 1700 Saturday 31st October.
