Errol Le Cain was born in Singapore and made his first animated film at the age of 11, then moved to the UK to work as an animator at the age of 15. He joined Richard Williams Studios in London, where he worked on animated films. He also illustrated around 40 picture books, winning the Kate Greenaway Medal for Hiawatha’s Childhood.
This exhibition follows the story of his picture books and unravels the secrets of Le Cain’s magic through original illustrations, sketches, and other materials.
