British pianist Ian Pace is a pianist who has gained worldwide acclaim for his performances of contemporary music. This performance will feature Boulez’s piano, one of the most representative piano works of the 20th century, which requires transcendental technique. Sonata No. 2, a new work written especially for this Japan tour will be performed. Please see the website for details on the program.
