This comprehensive English-language guidebook on Japanese culture was first published in 1934 by Shozo Yamaguchi, the second proprietor of Hakone Fujiya Hotel (est. in 1878). Kanaya Hotel History House has stored a number of unused copies of all three volumes for over fifty years, and they are still in excellent condition today. Containing a wealth of information about Japanese culture, these books would be a valuable addition to anyone’s library.
