14th BAM Academy Online Seminar Connecting London – “William Morris and Folk Crafts” – Building a Cultural Bridge between Japan and the UK – An online seminar will be held jointly by the William Morris Gallery in the UK and BAM (British Antique Museum) Kamakura. Local curator Ms Róisín Inglesby will be invited as a special guest to talk about the history and achievements of William Morris, as well as his deep connection to the Japanese folk craft movement. Participants will also view some works that connect Morris and folk crafts, currently on display at the William Morris Gallery in London and Mr Masaomi Dobashi (Director of BAM Kamakura) will interview Ms Inglesby.
