The National Ballet of Japan, led by Artistic Director Miyako Yoshida (JBS member and 2018 JBS Award Recipient), will perform in the Royal Opera House in London in July 2025. The company will perform Giselle, which Miyako Yoshida directed in 2022, and which received rave reviews. This is director Yoshida’s triumphant return to the Royal Opera House, having previously worked as a Principal at the Royal Ballet. Tickets are expected to be difficult to obtain, but thanks to the generosity of the New National Theatre Tokyo, we will be able to secure a certain number of tickets for the performances for JBS members. If you would like to make use of this opportunity, please contact the JBS Secretariat. The deadline for finalising the performance dates/times, and number of tickets is mid-February. We can also introduce you to travel agents.
Dates: 24th until 27th July 2025 (5 performances)
(Tickets are available for 7/25, 26, 27.)
Place: Royal Opera House
Price: 150 pounds per ticket
