The British Council will introduce the teaching practice of “Discussion and Consensus Building” (DCB) as a replacement for “Debate”. Based on his experience over three years, Mr. Makoto Hasegawa from Niigata Prefectural Takada High School will share methods for designing lessons that help students clearly focus on their goals and engage in learning, as well as how to conduct performance tests.
