Visit to Yokohama Archives of History Exhibition “Over the Seven Seas – Japan and Britain in the Edo Period 1830s-1868”
The building housing the Yokohama Archives of History used to be the UK’s Consulate in Yokohama, and is now designated by the city as an important cultural property. With the cooperation of the Yokohama Archives of History, the Society has organised a visit to the exhibition “Over the Seven Seas – Japan and Britain in the Edo Period 1830s to 1868”, during which participants will also be given a lecture (in Japanese) by an expert in the field. Due to the infection control measures, participation is limited to 40 members. Those accepted will be informed about one week in advance.
