At this workshop, participants will make their own Christmas swags (a kind of wreath) using dried and fresh materials under the guidance of Hamei Matsumoto (JBS member and certified Sougetsu Ikebana teacher). The materials will include various seasonal flowers, twigs and herbs associated with winter and the festive season. Participants will be able to observe how the leaves and flowers used to make the swags change in both colour and texture as they dry.
