Tokyo 100 years ago -from photos by plant hunter E.H. Wilson

The plant hunter and botanist Ernest Henry Wilson collected more than 5,000 plant specimens in Japan and photographed more than 1,300. Tokyo was the base for his travels in Japan. Through an exhibition of his photos and researches at the National Museum of Nature and Science, you will learn much about the changes in the scenery and trees of Tokyo over the last 100 years and the achievements of this great man.
