Ms Noriko Hama, a well-known economic commentator and columnist, will give an online lecture entitled “The Twisted Relationship Between Courage and Convictions: A Case of Two Prime Ministers”.
(The lecture will be in Japanese by the Zoom.)


NORIKO HAMA is an economist and is currently a professor at the Doshisha University Graduate School of Business. Having spent four years of her childhood in the UK, she studied international economics at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. She was attached to the Mitsubishi Research Institute from 1975 to 2002, serving as the company’s chief representative in London from 1990 to 1998. Noriko writes regularly on current issues in newspapers and economic journals. She works frequently as a commentator for current affairs media.
