Mr Panos Karan, a UK based pianist, gave charity concerts in the summer last year for the people affected by the Great East Earthquake and Tsunami , which were broadcasted by the BBC in the UK. He will make another Japan tour in March this year to play some charity concerts in the Tohoku area.
He runs a charity programme called “Keys of Change” in order to give opportunities for people who have never listened to classical music or who are in a difficult condition to enjoy piano music.
We are happy to invite JBS members to his charity concert in Ginza/Tokyo, which will follow a casual reception organised by the JBS and the Japan-Greece Society at the same venue. It will be a good opportunity for members to enjoy talking with him over a glass of wine after the concert.
To make a booking for this special event, please register your full name and phone number with the JBS Secretariat by e-mail, telephone, fax, or mail no later than 8th March, and make full payment to the bank shown below. No refunds will be made after this date and no shows will be charged.
